Success stories

Birchington School

Box Tops for Books is already making a huge difference to schools in the UK and Ireland. One of the biggest success stories from the 2005/2006 activity is Birchington Primary School in Kent who have been able to claim a whopping 301 books!

Birchington Church of England Primary School first opened in 1849 and has been extended several times since. There are 407 pupils there in June 2006.

The boys and girls at Birchington are making good use of their new books in both library-based sessions and as a valuable addition to lessons. The books are proving to be an excellent asset to the children's everyday learning and development.

Students from Birchington Primary School

Birchington is just one of the many schools throughout UK and Ireland who are already benefiting from the Box Tops for Books scheme. The new scheme is underway so make sure your school doesn't miss out and register now so that you too can start collecting tokens and claiming your free books!
